A little birdie told me....

Hello! It's been awhile since I've kept a blog and never did a craft how-to blog! I enjoy crafting, papermaking, cards and scrapbooking. So I thought I'd share some of the projects I have done and how I am making them.  Not everything will have exact measurements etc, but hopefully, you'll be able to get an idea from them.

I've recently found a cute stamp line, Newton's Nook Designs, that feature cats.  You know I love cats! So here's a couple of cards to start your day off.
This is the stamped image colored with Tombow markers.  It reads "A Little Birdie told me it was your birthday...." Then when the card is open it says "so I ate him"  Happy Birthday"
I like to ink around the edges of my focal point and mats sometimes just to give them an extra pop. Below is the front of the card.  I used a 5x8.5 card, matted with tan and blue designer papers.  You can decide how much you want to show on edges of your mat. A normal amount is 1/4" or 1/8". I added four black stick on gems to add a little dimension but also make it easy to mail.

I hope you've enjoyed this mini tutorial.  I also will make custom cards.  If interested, leave a contact email in the comments below and I will get in touch with you.
Thank you and have a great day!
